Aside from what has already been mentioned, the photo also neeeds to be straightened. The fireplace is leaning upward on the right.

as far as lighting her dress does seem a bit too blown out but focusing is really your problem

I think that's just a by-product of the angle of the shot. The sides of the fireplace are also leaning to the left.

Agreed it needs to be straightened a little though.
