What format to have the HDRs as?

Once i've finished processing my HDRs on Photomatix 3.2, What would be the best format to save it as, ensuring best quality and colors?
And i have just bought photoshop CS3, is there a better option on here for processing HDRs than on Photomatix? In your opinion?

You should save it as a 16bit tiff file for further editing.

agree with provo. also, Photomatrix is still considered to be "top dog", each time someone comes out with a new product or even before they keep upgrading and are making changes all the time.

There are good programs, but CS3 is not one of them , at least IMHO

And in the HO of most others who use Photomatix. The only other one I would recommend is by Nik.

This is what I use. Good editing program and it's not too expensive.
