I didn't.... it was mostly given to me by a prof friend of a friend who's since told me they don't want it back even though I've changed camera and to sell it instead!

I can post it to anyone in the UK if they'd like to make an offer!!

How about just put it in the freezer.

Hmm... to bump that by 10x you'd need to have a 1 series body. This isn't the case here.

Canon's rating on the rebel's shutter is 10K, so I'm not pulling numbers out of my ass.

Sorry I blew up... Our 10D has gone way over that mark quite a few times so that's where my number came from. I did a little research and it sure is :hail: I guess you can see how much I'm used to the older days when cameras lasted a little while. For us, 10K wouldn't last a year. :shock:

No prob.

10D has a different shutter mechanism which is more reliable. 50k I think

And the shutters can work way longer than the canon's numbers.
