Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I have PS CS2 and was wondering what are some great sites, books, tutorials, etc., that would help me get more comfortable with the program. Any suggestions?

2 years of graphic design schooling.

I inhale technical books and for me, a book entitled, "50 Fast Digital Photo Techniques" solved the Photoshop riddle. Unlike its name suggests, it wasn't a book of tips and tricks, but rather a systematic way of improving a photograph using Photoshop Elements. Each of the so-called 'fast techniques' were steps in the editing process. I suppose if the author had named it "How to Systematically Edit A Photograph" he wouldn't have sold any copies.

Look on Amazon and see if they have a used copy of Scott Kelby's book for CS2. It will teach you everything you need to know to get started. The rest is up to you.

Thanks, I will be sure to check into that.

the lynda.com cs4 and cs5 courses are pretty hard to beat.

1. High quality video courses
2. easy to follow with all the steps by steps techniques.
3. all the photos and material are provided with the training.
4. there are plenty of training that covers pretty much anything you need to know about the application.
5 techniques are for photographers
6. its all over the interwebs to download.

+ it has been created by professional instaid of jim bob douche on youtube.

practice practice practice.

All my PS skills are self taught, starting in 2000. For someone with no schooling in it, I think I'm pretty good :) (or so, what friends tell me who are graphic designers)

Agree'd that lynda.com is tough to beat.

And always shoot in RAW!!
