What is the best 50mm lens

Want to know what is the best 50mm lens for a Canon full frame.
Price is not relevant.

Thanks

I don't have a huge lens selection but absolutely love my Canon 50mm f/1.4. Great color and bokeh and solid focus. I use it whenever I can. I've never used the 1.2L or any off brand lenses. If price is no concern then you may as well go with the 1.2L or one of the other lenses mentioned for the best quality possible. But I think the Canon f1.4 is a great all around balance of everything for myself.

Shaylou, if you decide to stay with Canon (as only Canon users have given you hands-on comments and not references to reviews of other brands....) there are some tests on Youtube worth watching.

and many more....

As mentioned before in this thread, I have great results with my f(1.4) ....I tried the f(1.2) on loan, the results were great but this lens is very, very heavy. As the price is of no concern to you I will only mention that I experienced no great difference between the f(1.2) and the f(1.4). The purist might see or encounter some differences on the final result but in my humble opinion I would not have spend the price difference between the two lenses

Otus. Next Thread.

Yep, if you don't mind the lack of AF the Otus is as good as it gets. Behind that you've got the Sigma Art and the 50L. The Sigma has better optics (and surprisingly the OOF rendering is almost indistinguishable from the L), while the L will give you weathersealing (with a filter fitted) and reliable AF. Pick your poison.
