What is this stuff??

Its growing everywhere in an area i was photographhing... i think its wheat, but maybe someone else knows better. what do you think of these two? first one was taken with my 35-200, second one was taken with the 10-20

Looks like barley to moi.

sure could be.... it grows wild all over here... i just assumed it was wheat becasue of how it looked, but could be barley. any other comments???

Wild barley - or rye grass I'd say, depends on the real size of the ears..

its a tokina lens, its my dads, he's had it since he used it on his minolta 35mm camera, but i use it now since he doesnt take pictures much anymore... lets just say i'm "taking care of it" for him... i'm thinking its like 200 dollars or something but its sort of old, the body is all metal and its 4.5-5.6 i think
