what is this?

I have been playing with hdr lately, and I noticed something strange. In one of the exposures I took this morning there is an orange mark in the bottom right area. Does anyone know what this is?

It looks like a lens flare. Is this a single exposure? It also looks like you have some ghosting going on in the middle.

It's 5 different exposures, only one has that orange mark.

have you got a UV filter on your lens? If so, take it off.. they do nothing but degrade image quality.

Were you using a lens hood? If not.. it is a good idea.

I had the lens hood, no filter.

I used mirror lock up, with 2 second timer. Does that anything to do?

Could be lens flare, although it looks like you were shooting with the sun behind you. It could have been a bug or or a bird flying by, up close. Wouldn't worry about it unless it happens again.

Is that a glass thing hanging on a line? It could have caused a lens flare if it was moving and the sun caught it during one of the frames.

It's a bell with a piece of paper at the end, I don't think that piece of white paper can reflect enough to cause flare or can it?
