What Kind of Woodpecker is This?

Was taking pictures of birds yesterday, when this little guy showed up at one of my feeders. I think it is a type of woodpecker, but not sure. Can anyone tell me?

Looks small for a Harry, methinks a male Downy. They look very similar except for size & I am judging size by the size of the mesh on the feeder.

It is a Downy woodpecker (Picoides pubescens) for sure. Hairy woodpeckers have an elongated beak as well as spots encircling the eyes. Both of these features are lacking on this guy.

Defiitely a Downy..... as in the Eastern US.
