What Should I Do?

Or should I buy this tripod Amazon.com: Dolica AX620B100 62-Inch Proline Tripod and Ball Head: Camera & Photo and this lens Amazon.com: Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens: Camera & Photo

I'm leaning more towards the lens and cheaper tripod but I'm not quite sure yet.

I'm guessing you'll be using the lens more than you would the tripod...get the lens and cheap tripod. You can always upgrade to a better tripod later if necessary. That Dolica tripod doesn't look too bad.
