What sparked my interest

This is the first photo i took and i've been debating on making it career ever since.

You captured some interesting patterns and colors, and it seems like you saw that in what was in your viewfinder. It's obviously a big jump from discovering you have a passion for photography and making that into a career; if you keep developing your skills in time you can see where it takes you.

Everyone starts at some point, I remember shooting this kind of photo 40 years ago. Good luck, Photography these days is all about sunsets, like the end of a movie where the cowboy rides off into one. Enjoy it as a hobby for now.

Whether or not you make it a career is up to you, because you can enjoy photography either way. However, I prefer getting paid doing what I enjoy.

A very nice picture you got there and I guess you love nature photography then. A career in photography is hard work and honestly, the pay is always not enough unless you have already established yourself. But... with persistent and a pair of good eyes, you will have a career and fun with it as well. Good luck, keep on "making" pictures. BTW what is it in your picture that you particularly liked? as they say a picture should tell a story.. what might that story be?

I liked how the trees turned out in the picture at the time i wasn't sure if they were going to come out black as they did. It was a beautiful spring morning

Nice one. But like said here, seriously consider keeping it just a hobby and not making it a living. Not because I dont think you couldnt make it, but because I think it is getting really really difficult to get work as a photographer nowadays even if youre talented and skilled. Everybody with even an iPhone seems to be a photographer now and nobody wants to pay for pro work anymore. But if youre crazy, passionate and stubborn enough youll go all the way. Good luck!
