What type of photos are these? From the 1960s-70s

Hi I'm new here so feel free to suggest a different forum that might better suit this question. I have a bunch of these prints, looks like they are from a contact sheet since they are all about 1.5" in size. But many of them are printed double! The top and bottom look identical, but if you look up close, one is darker/different exposure as the one on the bottom, and is slightly to the left or right, as if it might be created for a stereoview, but of course they are not. I'd love to know how they were taken, and what to call them as I plan to list a bunch on eBay. Thanks for any help!

Usually stereo/3d photos I've seen are mounted horizontally so I don't know what type of viewer these would work in. If there aren't any markings on the mounts I wonder if they were done by an amateur (the two photos to the right look like someone's backyard to me).

Thanks vintagesnaps. Yes they are all amateur photos. Many from a trip to the Grand Canyon, and a lot I had to throw away because they were just a bunch of old people standing around and weren't good. All of them are vertically stacked like these however. Also, you said 'mounts' but these aren't mounted. The images are contact printed together on one print.

I'm curious as to what you mean when you say your going to list a bunch on E Bay? Do you plan on trying to sell these?

My thought was that these were mounted improperly...I've used the type of stereo-opticon type viewer that these card-mounted images are viewed in on many occasions back when I was a kid in the 1970's...my local Carnegie-funded old-timey city library had thousands of these "views"....and I am pretty sure my two eyes are separated horizontally, not vertically....so...whoever mounted these was....uh...challenged or distracted or something...

Yes I do. I have other better ones if the Grand Canyon. I just want to be able to list them with the proper info in case they have some value
