My bride-to-be and I are looking for suggestions of cute, silly, romantic or just "fun" photos that we can do while still in our wedding post reception that preferably would not "totally destroy" the clothing we are wearing. Can you offer your suggestions?

Well... think "Honeymoon" photos. No... not THAT!!! There's more to a honeymoon than that.

well, what type of conveyance are you riding away from the reception in/on ?? Depending on what it is, you could get some great pictures. There are endless possibilities...

old vintage cars or trucks, motorcycles, horse and carriages...and... we must not forget....the bicycle built for two!!!!! :) LOL.. I have known people to ride away in fire trucks, and tractors, too. Horseback makes for some pretty pictures, with the bride's dress draped down over the horse....

as for funny, silly pictures, here is a classic:

Not knowing your plans for your wedding and reception, if you really want some cute, non-traditional photos you might want to just consider scheduling another shoot. If you figure to have a few hours of dancing, for example, chances are you and your bride just aren't going to be at your, shall we say, most photogenic by the end. I also don't know what agreement you have with your photographer, but unless there is a specific reason to stick around to the end you can probably let the photographer go before the end of the reception (he/she will probably be enough relevant reception shots early on) and save some money.

"Trash the dress" shoots are popular these days (though of course you don't actually trash the dress), so if you own your own tux (or are willing to re-rent one) you can do these shots any time. Since they are so popular you may be able to get your photographer to do the shoot for trade - I've seen many photographer eager to add these shots to their portfolio. (And if you let the photographer go before the end of the reception, even if you have to pay for another tux rental or the second shoot time, you still might come out ahead.)
