What you guys think about this Picture C&C

VERY interesting work that KmH did in this C&C thread! The railing makes a photo with one message...cropping out the railing creates and entirely different feel to the shot.

My thought exactly.

I liked it better with, because it puts out a restriction, that we arent allowed to go there, it forbidden, and it adds mild excitement, and desire.

That's a very good point.

I like both, but the derailed (hehe) one is more appealing to me. Either way I love it, it has an eerie feel to it and I love that works perfect for it.

Desaturate the door a little bit more like others have said. I would also leave the lamps b&w and push a little more contrast into it. Great shot though!

But, the lamps are a very effective leading line to the door and their slight bit of color strengthens that connection.

It reminds me of an example from a photography text book. I like the rail in the foreground, it adds a feeling of depth. IMHO
