I don't really have a bag. I have a small insert that I'll put into a messenger bag. What's in it? Right now, nothing. I keep my cameras on a couple of shelves. When I'm going out to take pictures, I'll figure out what I feel like shooting and throw that in the bag.

which bag? i have a 5mp point and shoot low consumer grade i got for free on the side of the road in one..

Real nice gear. You really took the time to line all that up to take a pic just for this thread though? That is some real internet commitment...and i don't see any of it in a bag. :biggrin-93:

Geez MSnowy, being the holidays and all, I could help you lighten your load..

How much snow are you going to get? Looking forward to beautiful shots!

Some of you must have enormous bags!

I have lots of crap but lately unless a specialty subject is in mind I only take a small bag with a 35,50 and 85.

I'd list everything but can't be bothered.

In another case I have a Canon 10D, original 1D, 2 x 1Dmk2, 5D, 24-70f2.8, 50f1.4, 70-200f4, 580EX, 1.4x extender, 2x extender, radio remote trigers and loads of other stuff not of this gets used anymore

Not everything fits in my bag... but the bag is a Tenba Universal Roller (Roadie Universal — Black | 638-327
Inside it currently has:
  • Canon 5D III body w/BG-E11 Battery Grip
  • EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM w/hood
  • EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM w/hood
  • EF 14mm f/2.8L II USM
  • TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II
  • EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM w/hood
  • EF 135mm f/2L USM w/hood
  • Extender EF 2x II
  • GP-E2 GPS Receiver
  • ST-E3-RT Speedlite Transmitter
  • (2x) 600EX-RT Speedlites
  • LC-E6 Battery Charger
  • TC-80N3 Remote Release / Intervalometer
  • B&W ND 3.0 10 stop ND filter
  • B&W ND 0.9 3 stop ND filter
  • B&W Circular Polarizer
  • Spare batteries for the flashes (Eneloops)
  • Spare memory cards
I'm probably forgetting lots of miscellaneous stuff (cleaning cloths, "wired" off camera flash sync cord, USB cords, etc.) Of course this doesn't include gear not normally kept in bags (e.g. tripods, etc.)

Ha Ha. No snow here yet. Being on the coast I'm hoping for all rain.

Thanks. Ha Ha Not that committed this was for insurance purposes awhile ago. All of this is in my truck in the case and bag ready and willing for some action.

I have several bags packed and stored in a cabinet near the door and they change on occasion. Currently:

ONA Bowery blue
M9, 35mm Summilux, 50mm Summilux, 24 Elmarit, Sf24D flash, and off shoe cable.

ONA Bowery brown
Olympus E-PL1 (two bodies), 12mm f/2, 25mm f/1.8, 45mm f/1.8, 14-42 EZ., FL300R flash, Manfrotto mini tripod.

Domke F6
Olympus OMD EM5, Battery grip, Lumix 12-35 f/2.8, 35-100 f/2.8, 100-300mm, Olympus 9-18mm, FL600R flash, better beamer, Hahnel Combi TF remote and flash trigger, E-PL1 (Full Spectrum), 77mm 720nm IR, 3 stop ND, 10 stop ND, Polarizing filter, step up rings, Universal arca swiss L bracket, Sirui T005 tripod.

Golla Carol
Sony A7R, Noctilux 50mm f/1 and Nokton 35mm f/1.2 with Adapter. This is just for evaluating the A7R... not sure if I'm going to keep it.

... No big bags for me.

Nothing! I hang a camera [35mm or 2 1/4,] and my trusty Luna Pro around my neck, stuff my pockets with the appropriate film -- usually a Kodak/Ilford(r) ASA100 or 400 B&W -- and I'm off and running. May or may not carry a tripod, depending.

The camera's usually fitted with a yellow filter and a lens shade.

That's the 'minimalist' gist of it. Of course, when I'm fooling around with pinhole photography the gear's even more basic -- just an 8"x10" home-made camera and a watch with a second-hand.

And yes, I do have a digital rig or two.

Yep. The D300s w/AF-24-85 mm f/2.8-4D is on a Black Rapid RS-2 ready to shoot stills or video - not in the bag.
I didn't list the lens cleaning tools, radio triggers, spare batteries (for cameras and flash unit), model releases, rain sleeves, note pad, pens, kitchen sink, etc.

I keep a tripod in each of my street cars.
