what's it called

You know when you have a black and white picture but select a couple of areas for colour, what's that called? I'm sure it's got a special name. :?

I've only heard it called selective coloring.

Well in the old days, meaning 6 or 8 years ago before computers took over and digital it was called hand tinting, doesn't matter how much of the photo you color its still hand tinting. However now its done much easier with computer programs.
