It is surprising the number of things with a similar appearance. Nobody got it yet but some are on the correct path.

Now that made me go look & I checked three routers:

1 Single split collet

2 Double split collet

3 Triple split collet.

I have two others I did not check but I would be surprised if they had four segments.

So, no, not a router Chuck/collet.
