Ok,I blew the photo up and ran it through some incredibly advanced identification algorithms. I examined it for hours using a magnifying glass, then I compared the image to thousand and thousands of other images of similar creatures. According to the intense research I did, I can say for certain it's a bird. Definitely some kind of bird.

You might want to consider posting it on Flickr, they've got entire groups dedicated to nothing but identifying birds. If your looking for a gaggle of bird geeks, you'll find them there.. lol

Could be a Mallard cross breed.

Perhaps it is a cross breed of some sort, there are quite a few at the park. The bird was closer in size to a goose which is what really had my wondering.
