Wheat Fields

Here's two photos from this past weekend that I made of some wheat fields. I've been experimenting a bit in post lately with my colour stuff (I mostly shoot B&W), so I don't know what the images will look like before I'm done processing. I treated the first one to have a subtle painterly look. With the second one, which is my favourite of the two, I went with a soft-colour palette and lower contrast than my usual.

I love the first one...The sense of going on for miles is what I always think of with wheatfields...and the 2nd one lacks that perspective for me...

But! Thats personal choice, either way both are quite lovely

my fav. is #1 more natural. I would still burn( using ps) some dark blue to make it pop more.
#1 the sky is too blue for my taste. looks too fake.

I suppose you meant that #2 is more natural and that the sky in #1 is too fake?
