Really interesting subject here! I dont shoot many "things" so take this C&C with that in mind. I really wish the DOF was a bit deeper for this one. I feel like both subjects are equally important here, since they are so close together. That makes me wish they were both in focus.

Lots of texture, plenty of lines, plenty of interest! I like it.

Thanks for the comments. I agree about the DOF. I had a new lens with a larger Aperture setting than I was used to and went a bit over board with it.

It's definitely easy to go overboard without trying! Digital photo manipulation is so fun though! I work with portraits and when I use my software, I love adding extra eyeballs, or making a persons nose much larger than normal!!! Just because you CAN!!!! Endless possibilities!!! LOL

Are you familiar with your "burn" tool?? If not, do a quick video tutorial! You can rid lots of steps with one simple tool! Took me a while before I knew about that!
