In the twighlight of your life , when you're sittin on your porch talkin to your great grandkiddies and reflecting and whatnot ...
What three experiences would you hope to have had in your life ....?
Have you experienced them already?
And , if not , whats keepin ya ?

i hope to have had more than three!!!

but some of the ones i've already had.....
I've found true love
I've been snorkelling under a boat and nearly caught a stingray
I've driven almost the entire length on my country
I co-built the engine that did it
got 'buzzed' by a Lancaster Bomber, Spitfire and Hurricane 8)

and some of the ones i want....
to go to Iceland, Japan/China, the Maldives and a road trip around France/Italy/Swizerland and Germany in my campervan
i want to see a platypus
i want to 'fly' on my own (either a gyrocopter, hanglider or parachute/freefall/base jump)
and many many more.....

and a couple i wish i could do again...

Suppose I should offer up MY three as well , seeing as I posed the question

Three things I hope I get to experience ...( out of the million little experiences I could choose from ).....

1) Travel the world and have BIGGG adventures so when I'm an old fart I'll have interesting stories to tell :sillysmi:

2) Write a best selling book. :study:

3) and probably the most important one to me... would be to have gorgeous , happy kids of my own.To experience and give THAT kind of strong and unconditional love would be amazing. :love:

Here's another vote for hoping I have more than three.... but anyway:

1) Consider myself very well-travelled AND/OR end up living in a completely different country

2) Have a deep sense of satisfaction that I put out a large body of good art/photography

3) Kept the love of my life over the course of my life

I'll sneak in another one and just say I hope the grandkids find me to be a rippin' old bag, and admire the way I lived.

Aww... Let's see... Since I'm almost there, I can think back to my past experiences and say that:

-I rock climbed the second highest peak in Wyoming (The Grand Teton);
-I actually visited the Kremlin in Moscow, during the peak of the Communist era;
-I shook hands with Bill Clinton and spoke with him briefly;
-I shook hands with Hillary Clinton and spoke with her briefly.
...and there are more, can't remember! You know, memory is the second thing that goes with age.

What I'd love to do is:
-climb the Everest;
-explore Africa, Australia (hear that, mateys?), Japan;
-invent something in the field of photography which will revolutionize the way pictures are taken (ha, ha... that'd be impossible now, wouldn't it?).

That'd be all I can think of for now.
