The firemaen are kind of lost in the conversion to B&W.

It's a very busy scene, but while the firemen are placed well based on ROT I would crop to make the fireman on the deck the only person in the photo.

It is a busy scene but it holds enough interest to make me look closely at it and appreciate it. I like it a lot.

I don't like that crop at all. I think the other fireman is important to the composition, as he repeats the angle of the handrail...helmet to helmet is the same line. I also like the arc of his body, leaning back, and that he is looking at the "action" taking place. :thumbup:

The conversion is rather muddy though.

Good work. I really like it. Sometimes black and white speaks volumes over color when taking photos at fire scenes. I have actually thought about taking some black and white when I am on scenes. So far all I shoot is color. Again, good work
