where to buy?

i'm interested in buying a used (or new if the price is right) medium format camera, but i'm not really sure where to get one. there's a used camera shop where i live that almost never has any in their stock, but when they do they sell instantly so i've been out of luck with getting one.

is there any websites that you guys could recommend to me? my budget is probably around $300-400

Over the course of two years I built a Mamiya M645j system from ebay. Two bodies, four lenses (45mm, 80mm, 150mm and 210mm Sekor C lenses), L-grip, Pentaprism viewer, film chargers, the works.

ebay is underrated sometimes. Go check it out.

well the only new MF cameras in that price range would be ether a Holga or Diana both are under $50 and can be bought at Freestyle in LA, if you want some think better eBay or KEH might be the best opption

Do you want a fixed or interchangable lens, TLR, SLR or rangefinder/zone

One would think there would be some big national camera dealer both new and use in LA but I can't recall hearing of any.
