Has anyone used any of these. I don't think any are "grey market" cameras but let me know if you know different.

Welcome to the forum.

You really have to be careful when you search the Internet for the lowest price. There are many, many 'bait & switch' type scams with these cameras. Basically they get you on the phone to confirm the order then hit you with a hard sell for a bunch of overpriced accessories. After that, they tell you that the camera is back ordered and it won't be there for a while...unless you want to upgrade to something etc.

I would check out this site and see what other people have to say first. www.resellerratings.com

Or just save yourself the trouble and buy from B&H or Adorama. If you do shop their, we would appreciate it if you used the links on this site to get there.

There are also a lot of mail order houses that report that they are selling US versions of certain models but they are selling grey market foreign models which are available a highly discounted price. I agree with Adorama and B&H being good co's to deal with. B&H will carry some foreign models but will tell you.

Amazon is another good place to pick up cameras and lenses. They usually have a lower price than B&H or Adorama unless those sites are offering a discount or rebate. A lot of the stuff on Amazon actually comes from Adorama or 47th Street Photo.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Another recommendation for bhphoto and adorama. KEH is also another good one.
Am I right in assuming that KEH sells for other companies. It seems like some of the prices are the same as samys.com
