Where to get the Nikon 35mm F1.8 G AF-S

I really want this lens:
Nikon 35mm F1.8 G AF-S DX NIKKOR Lens


But no places have them in stock. Does anyone know why there is such a low supply of these? If I find it online, is it safe to have lens's shipped?

I couldn't find it online either, so I had my local camera shop order it. It took about 3 weeks.

I had it on order from Amazon and Adorama for a month. A local shop said they were selling them before they got them so each time a shipment came in, they were all spoken for. I left my name with them just in case and one day the sales rep called and said she had one that was not sold. I told her I would be there in an hour. they were $10 more, but they had it. I have to say I LOVE the lens, well worth the wait.
