Where to look for digital camcorder info

Hey guys, I'm thinking about asking for a digital camcorder for Christmas, and I want to do some research on them. Are there forums like these but for camcorders?

I haven't seen any, but a google search would tell you. You can also get comparisons at ask.com, and at many other places.

I can tell you, I have a Sony digital and love it! Their new ones burn the video direct to DVD, which I think is just too cool!

I did this search for a friend of mine not long ago. I had a brief look then, and it seemed to be a comprehensive site.

I don't want to look again for fear that I'll catch the purchase bug.
