Which camera bag to use with a 70-200mm mounted

My budget is around $150... I've been looking at the Think Tank Urban Disguise 35 V2.0 and the LowePro Slingshot 302 AW...

Do you recommend even leaving the 70-200 2.8 attached to my D7000 while in the bag? I will add a SB-700 to my gear in the near future.

Choosing the right bag for you and your specific needs is a very personal decision. I'd suggest finding a well stocked camera store and trying out some bags.

Most backpack style bags are made to hold a camera (with the possibility of a long lens) down the middle. That's how I keep my camera with 70-200mm in a Lowepro Comutrekker AW.
Of course, if you don't want a backpack style bag, then you'll have to try something else.

Dang flabit i missed this thread... Bag collecting has turned into a 2nd hobby of mine

I was going to recommend the Think Tank Retro 20.

I have the Flipside 200 and use it every now and then with my D7000 + 70-200. The Flipside's are good bags and you should get lots of use out of it. However, when you get sick of how hard it is to get your gear in-and-out of... take a look at the Retrospective 20

MY 70-200 lives in the "Large". No worries the thread is old, surprised I saw your post though. You won't regret a Tenba

Hmm. I was really wanting to get a small or mini. Just don't know if it will be tall enough.
