Which do you like more? C&C

Oh, and Tomasko...just hypothesizing, but RAW gives you the ability to recover things that you missed in camera, such as exposure. I'd expect that a class, particularly if the assignment were, say, to work on exposure, would remove that safety net to make the student get it right in camera (which should be the goal for all of us, right?).
What's the problem about using RAW to its full extent? How could it possibly ruin the learning process? Back in film days, they would tell you, that you can't develop your photos? RAW isn't some safety net, that you can cheat with. If you didn't get the exposure/composition/whatever right, no RAW will save you.

You know the more I look at it the more I realize you're all right. Thanks for the constructive criticism everyone (except you gsgary).

Thank's for not including me i hate to go with the crowd, What was the assignment ?

The assignment was merely tilted shots we were all rushing in as class was over in retrospect I do wish I'd taken more time to compose the photo

Selective coloring....

First edit. But it could use a lot of work. Not crazy about the composition, but just speaking on the editing.
