In #2 the building color looks unnatural

The colors are so off to me that I was tricked into think the first had a better composition for a moment.

Second one one is a better composition. Processing, what others said.

The second one for sure. The first one had that rock in the middle and it's placement throws the composition off IMO

And you also might want to experiment with not centering your horizons, mix it up a bit

Of course, we alllll know that true, accurate, and faithful representational renderings are an absolute requirement of all photographs. None of that artistic chit is allowed. If it is not 100% representational and accurate, it's crap. You heard it here on TPF.

He made the building look great in photo 1.

I think with a location this interesting, it would be cool to see some more photos.

If the OP likes photo 2 looking like it does, then thats cool too.

I doubt the folks at Sports Illustrated who spend countless hours retouching all those swimsuit model pictures would agree - lol
