Which is best?

Could you guys visit my flickr an tell me which scenery photo and which animal photo is best based on creativity and overall quality. Please tell me if there are any simple improvements that can be made, because I will enter the best animal and the best scenery photo in a teen photo contest. Thanks

You would probably get responses if you actually posted the pictures instead of a link... people don't want to waste the time going through links searching for your pictures...

I normally don't go through 90+ photos. I think YOU need to pick your favorites, not us. But, I was bored. If animals are considered birds, then I would say this one is pretty good: Roller | Flickr - Photo Sharing!. I prefer "birds on a stick", so I like this. The background is isolated enough and makes the bird stand out. The hots spots in the background is a bit annoying and can be fixed.

I'm not a flower person, but this one caught my eye: Tulip | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Is 'Gus' a Dachshund by chance? I used to have one when I was a kid.
