Can others edit my Photos

Yes, just got my first L lens through post yesterday; Canon 70-200mm f4 non IS. Taken 2 images today; one using 70-200mm and the other using 55-250mm. Both image taken with the lens wide open at max zoom and with no photoshop. Can you tell which image taken by which lens ?

Thank you for looking.

Uh, the difference in zoom focal length kind of gives it away, more so than any IQ differences between the 2 lenses.

Try again, but shoot both at 200 mm.

This side-by-side photo comparison is an impressive display of the performance of Canon's L-glass against Rebel-class econo-glass, dontcha' think?

#1 or is it...#2?

talk about the wood for the trees...I didn't notice the apparent different focal-lengths. I pixel-peeped one of the droplets - sharper in 1..and also better color-rendition too..;)

#1 or is it...#2?

Whaddaya' mean? Isn't it totally OBVIOUS which shot was made with a red-ringed Canon L-series lens??? I mean come on people, we're talking about L-glass here!!!!

lol. It's just a stitch-up...truth be known both are with a Hanimex 6.5/24-800. (Kiron.. winkwink)

Cheers,

the OOF areas seem just a wee bit creamier in #1 to me but I'm looking at it on a really cheap old uncalibrated screen at work. :D

Sorry for the late reply. I was working away for a week and just been back home today. #1 is L lens. Can't take another shot with the lens as I sold it and make £100 :sexywink:.

Oh wow! This thread makes me wanna' sell all my Nikon stuff, or better yet just throw it all away
