which shot to keep

Thank you all for your comments on the previous post. I've played around with the original shot that was best, please let me know if any of these edits work, and if so, which one is the best.

I like #3 the best. Cleaner background, and full light on the insect.

4 tells more of a story, I like the goofy-ness to it.

I like number 4 the best it has a good dof and even thought the dof could be a little bit more dof i really like it.

#3 all the way. The background is the least distracting for me. #4 doesn't have enough DOF in my opinion.

I really like how you can see the vascular tissue in picture #2, but like Whootsinator said picture number #3 does have a cleaner background.
