Which to you like better?

The first shot the flash didn't fire because I was viewing through the LCD for focus. Dumb moment. I personally like the one with the flash better but I want your opinions as a learning experience.

FYI: I already know the backdrop was a bad choice and too strong for the subject.

#2 is better. The little girl has a better expression

Second one is a little bit better overall, I think. Both the woman and the girl look just a little bit happier in the second shot.

number 2 i would say..

I seem to prefer photo #1.

I like the little girl's cheeks and her positioning.

I think there is something about the skin tone I like better in #1.

I like #2 better... but mom's lil imperfections are better hidden with the coloring in #1.
