which travel camera?

So I’m getting a pricing on the EM10 iii kit.
I’ve ruled out the Fuji XA5, Canon M6, Sony A6000, RX100 III
FINAL answer Olympus.

What made you choose Olympus?

It had the smallest and most competent lens in the bunch. The RX100 series felt like too much money for a non system camera. I take lots of photos of my watch so I liked the closer focusing.

I have a much older version of the Sony cybershot camera that I’ve had for years. Love it especially because of its size. It’s easily outgunned these days by the newer tech of the iPhones but I still use it once in a while. It’s better at night shots than my phone.

Looks like a nice camera.
hmmm, maybe an alternative to a D5600 for a grab/travel/tweener camera.

I’ve got the EM10 III on the way.
Also got the 30mm macro because it was impressive and would be a great for my product shoots.
Just tested it and was drooling

has nice transition into OOF.

Cheaper to get an Olympus system than to get the new 105mm macro. Now I can use a smaller workspace and stop down less.

Challenging shot in the car just before I headed home.

its dynamic range is not as good as my D810 but then again very few cameras are.

I travel with a Fuji x100t. Most important thing for me when traveling is to have a small, silent, light, inconspicuous camera.

Also have a Sony A5000 and I love it with the 50mm f1.8 lens.

somewhat usable even at ISO 16,000

I made the "mistake" of trying out the 12-100 f/4
That is one of the most amazing lenses of ANY brand and format
