This combination is unstoppable

It truly is a superb lens that I don't think any other zoom from any system can match. No appreciable IQ or sharpness loss from short to long and wide open. Truly remarkable. Add the the Dual Sync IS when matched with an Oly camera and 1sec handheld exposures are very doable and people with steady hands can do 5sec..

I have that lens on my list for next year, when I get a new "toy" budget.

So how is the 12-42 EZ lens?
I LIKE that lens for it's compact size.
