White and Green Trees

White and Green Trees - Merced River - November 27, 2015

Always trying to find smaller scenes when I'm photographing icon locations, in this case it was 'Gates of the Valley' in Yosemite.

5D, 70-200mm, ISO 100, f/16, 1/20 sec

Nice. I like the contrast between the "white" and "green" trees. Can I assume that the white ones are deciduous with snow and the green are coniferous with very little snow?
