So this is for photography beginners. So I have a question, I recently bought a canon rebel t2i and I'm trying to give my images a kind of warm look and feel to them. I messed around with the white balance, but it's just not turning out the way I want them to. Any suggestions on what I should shoot as my first image and on what setting in wb I should shoot the first image in... Please help.

try using the pre set wd on your camera, if that's what not you're after try these

Color TemperatureLight Source
1000-2000 K Candlelight
2500-3500 K Tungsten Bulb (household variety)
3000-4000 K Sunrise/Sunset (clear sky)
4000-5000 K Fluorescent Lamps
5000-5500 K Electronic Flash
5000-6500 K Daylight with Clear Sky (sun overhead)
6500-8000 K Moderately Overcast Sky
9000-10000 K Shade or Heavily Overcast Sky
