On Sunday, the weather was alternating between threatening rain, and drizzle. So my wife and I decided to go for a drive south of our cottage, into Vermont. The drive, as always, was very pleasant, and we kept to the small roads - better to see and stop. And stop we did. At one such stop, we had a herd of horses close to the road, and they came up closer so see what we were up to. One was a white stallion, who was very laid-back. This is one of those where he wasn't nibbling on the grass - almost was saying "ok, get it done, and then I can go back to the important stuff". I don't shoot many animals, so I'm wondering how well this image came out from the point of view of more experienced animal photographers?
