Whitetail Buck Phlegm

Caught a few shots of this brute back when I first picked up a DSLR. I took these with a borrowed Nikon D70 and a 70-200 f2.8 VR. I think the shots from this morning ended up a bit soft. Given what I've learned in the 4 years since this was taken, I would love to have another opportunity at a buck like this. Man, was it exciting to snap away at him.

Looks good to me! He's nicely lit, facing the camera, and appears to even be trying to smile. I can imagine it would be very exciting to take his pic, not knowing how long you have before he bounds away. You did great.
