Who did it better? (music video)

I"M BORED OUT OF MY MIND! LOL! I sent my camera and lens out to get married last week Thursday and they have yet to be returned. :/ So I've been surfing and cleaning up my hard drive of garbage. Anyway I stumbled upon this video by Walk Off the Earth. I personally like this better than the original. I have also showed a couple of friends this video. Some friends think it's legit and others fake. What do you think? And who do you think did it better?

I hadn't seen either of them myself until the boredom set in. lol! I'm much more entertained by the WOTE one myself. There is a lot more going on in their video.

I would agree that it's not fake. One guy I talked to said the person doing the drumming isn't really doing it to the right timing. I don't agree with that though. For me I enjoy WOTE for exactly what you are saying about using the whole guitar. There is so much for me to observe in their video which keeps me engaged more than the Gotye video.

Truth be told, I just found the gotye video too weird. I didn't see any issues with the drumming on my end, seemed to sync just fine.
