It's because a lot of men are sad fantasists who think that if they kiss the ass of the resident forum girl, their desperate attempts for her attention may one day develop into a full blown, offline relationship (to put it politely).

So it's not erose's fault she gets lots of replies, she probably just thinks she's really interesting.

On the other hand, look at forum member 'Dimtri'. If Dimtri was an attractive women, with an SP avatar, his "movie revue's" would be about 12 pages long and highly revered. As it happens he's not, so he's lucky if he gets one reply, even if it's just me telling him to stop.
