I actually think it turned out pretty good. The only issue I see right off the bat is the reflection of the softbox in the window.

Get rid of that large, obnoxious watermark, and it's a good shot. The softbox reflection is not that big a problem for me. Could you clone in a faked flash burst on the left-hand flash? That would make it look much better.

Derrel, that flash actually is lit in the photo, just at alot less power because that side of my face is darker so I wanted it to look real. But for the sake of getting the point across better, I've taken both your pieces of advice. Whaddya think? (I know the clone job is a little sloppy, just grabbed it from the other flash in the photo rather than taking a photo of the flash at the right angle and bringing it in)

But someone is going to steal this photo of him on the couch and make millions with it.

The watermark was added when I uploaded it to my website. I have certain galleries on my smugmug set to automatically watermark the images as they are uploaded. I didn't catch it until I posted it here, at which point I removed it.

Just messing with you dude.

That's pretty cool, fun way to spend some down time. I am puzzled though that in picture number one in the matter of what I'm assuming was a couple minutes you decided to take your glasses off. Was that a mistake or was it an idea to put the other two guys holding the flash as assistants?

I laughed out loud when I saw this.
You have alot of time on your hands, but it's cool to see someone having fun with photography instead of it being work all the time.

That was actually intentional, I purposely took them off. Looking back, I should have changed my clothes for each shot too.

Haha thanks! I do have too much time on my hands... just lost my job, so I've got 40 hours a week that I don't know what to do with. Hopefully that changes soon though, I need a source of income lol
