who should do the color handling ?

I am printing a photo and totally forgot what i was taught in 101 ... do i have the printer handle the color, photoshop or no color management ? Help,

Depends on who is capable of handling the colour management. Do you have a colour profile for your printer for the given paper you intend to print on? If so then set photoshop to handle it, select the profile, then disable the colour management in the printer driver.

If you don't have a colour profile that you wish to use then let the printer handle the colour management.
