Who wants to help me investigate some photo thieves?

So, it's come to my attention on another forum (non-photography related) that a member there has had a photo of mine as her desktop for 5 years. She has no idea where she got it.

So, basically, someone stole one of my photos 5 years ago. I started searching, trying to see if anything came up, and found links and names from several people (most of whom are no longer here) from here on a page, including one of mine (not the one I was looking for, though).

The page is very confusing, and I'm trying to figure out what it is: (CLICK AT YOUR OWN RISK) Flowers/Floral Stuff - zjrg.com - Powered by chcms

The picture I originally set out to try to figure out who stole it is not going to be an easy task, as it's a picture of a rose . . . so . . .well . . . search that out and try to get narrowed down results, and you'll see what I mean.

Anyone here good at tracking down such things ? Or figuring out what the heck the above page is?

You might want to try a search by filename, as that may be something that wasnt changed. Of course, if someone saved the image and posted it somewhere else, your chance of finding it is pretty slim, unless it is a remarkably unique and identifiable shot.

This is common and probably not done by any person but automatically... Basically stealing website content.

Whois output for that domain places it in Hong Kong... which means action is limited

i thought the Z website seemed suss.. all those catch-all subjects in the page title..and no advertising.

Why do people make such a fuss about having their images 'stolen'?
Pictures have always been borrowed, re-cycled or stolen - the Internet just makes it easier for people to do it.
If you post your pictures on the Internet expect them to be stolen. If you don't want them stolen then don't post them. Simple.
I still occasionally come across old pictures of mine being re-used without my permission. I don't get excited by it.
In fact it's kind of nice to see that some of my work is still being appreciated.
If you want to be a creative the first thing you have to learn is how not to be precious about your work.
