Who's looking at who who!

Very nice indeed. And I'm envious of the lens and the shots -- I have never been able to get a shot of an owl in enough light for it to be worth keeping. Lee

I'm sure we have owls around here, I have never seen one in the wild. I'm amazed at these shots! Beautiful!

#3 with that wing position, what a shot. Outstanding. Ed

Great set! They are so cute. I'm so jealous of all of you folks who get these owl photos. I have a tree lined property with woods two properties away, but I have yet to see an owl anywhere. I do hear them after midnight, hoot owls and screech owls, usually in my side yard, but it doesn't help me then. I only have a 50mm lens at the moment anyway, but it would still be nice to actually "see" an owl out there during daylight hours. :er:

Thank you all for the comments. There is a natural high observing nature like this; something I ignored for most of my life (city boy). It's also a natural high getting to share it through photos and forums :).

Nancy, Civ, Carol, they are definitely all around you and likely right above you. Look for football shapes in the trees. Look for droppings and body parts of animals around the base of trees. They became fairly active just prior to sunset.

Lee, it will happen :)
