Why am I not able to upload my pics into a forum? What's the quirk...it's not me?

Why am I not able to upload pics to any forums? I'm clicking on the image icon and choosing the pics from my computer, then I click on upload and they upload, but don't show. ???

There is a sticky in the beginners forum on how to post pictures. You can't upload from computer right to the thread.

Upload some photos on Flickr. Then click on a photos go to the share button. Choose grab the code. Check off that you want the bbcode. Then copy and paste it right into the thread and your photo will show up!
