What's new

Why are my images doing this?

Take two different shots. The first, expose for the highlights. The second, expose for the shadows. Then combine in post...

i think the issue is that its oof.. wb is off, and its underexposed.

Not only will you see image noise in the dark portion of photos, you will also see posterization, particularly if you are editing JPEGs.

I know its oof.. I posted that earlier, also I don't see the wb being off it looks okay to me.

They are shot in RAW not jpeg. They are probably under exposed, I did forget to change my iso back to 100 so its all of in general... I don't have a flash meter so its trial and error with my strobes... I guess I'm just going to have to expose it one stop more then what I normally do and see if that fixes my problem.

It looks like pixels from blowing it up too much.

No, thats not it.. here is the original. See how her nose looks almost cartoonish, there is no detail and seems to have a really grey tint..

The photo seems to be underexposed. Popular exposed image should have less noise.

Besides, according to the exif

I will shoot it with a wider aperture instead of f/16. In that case, you can lower your ISO. i.e. f/8 with ISO200. Or maybe even f/5.6 with ISO200 and keep the same shutter speed.
