Why is my lens searching?

I just had to report this update.

On the afternoon of the 14th,
I sent back the little lens to B&H Photo.
Today, 4 days later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a brand new one!!!

Their customer service is outstanding! This lens is PRISTINE! I could understand if it had a little speck of dust here and there for the price, but it doesn`t. The glass is gorgeous, I mean it looks like a million dollar lens...! And it works like a charm, i`m thrilled to death. they are tops in my book.

i just can`t get over the fast turn around.

Good news. I was thinking of ordering some stuff from them because their prices are so competitive.

B&H is awesome... If you ever get a chance to go to the store in Manhattan go, but be warned, it is a little overwhelming.

when I got my 50mm 1.4 I was suprised to get the same thing....... searching and searching. I took off the filter and voila instant lock.

+1 on B&H if you are going to mail order.

Smart move sending it back...everybody was saying "focus manually" but if we wanted to do that all the time we wouldn't by AF lenses, would we?
