Wide angle converter

If it's a canon mount it'll fit. So yes it will work

It was just the phrase "The lens changes the focal length of the camera body's lens by a factor of 0.75x and a maximum focal length of 27mm." that confused me - is that saying that with the focal length of the lens under 27mm (say at 18mm setting) that it will have no effect, or if the focal length is above 27mm?
Because I want it to make my 18mm into ~14mm. I can get it for quite cheap I think, $100 NZD (equivalent to about $50 USD), is this worth it? Will it reduce image quality by much/ any for a kit lens?

sorry for all the questions, just a bit new to this is all :)

No, this will not work on your Canon SLR. It is intended for a Canon point and shoot camera.

Look at the underside of your lens, it will tell you what size the front threads are. My Nikon 18-55 is 52 mm. That accessory you link to is 58 mm. If your Canon 18-55 is also 52 mm, that converters threads are to wide to fit your lens.

But the greater point is that it will not go onto a Canon EF/EF-S lens because it is built to be used on specific point and shoot cameras.

do these converters exist for DSLR's?
