This first picture is a portrait of my wife.

I like the shallow dof and the mild vignetting in the first shot. :thumbup:
Imo, this shot would have been stronger, if we could see lil more forehead.

In the 2nd shot, I'm not comfy with her eyes not being in the frame.

By the way, welcome to TPF! :D
 
You went for some very close crops in the first two and I am not sure I am happy with that. In the one of your daughter I would have loved to see SOME more of her. A very important part of her is missing, i.e. her eyes.

Eyes ... brings me to your wife's photo, and I think she is squinting a bit too much in that one, which produces some quite unflattering wrinkles around her eyes. I'm sure they are not yet there ALWAYS, she is too young for that.
