I use a WT5a on my D4s, tried an Eye-fi in the past on a D7100 to connect, but it was too flakey whilst transferring images to an Ipad. Can't recommend one at all, flakey and slow.

Well, I have spent a couple of hours getting used to the Canon Utilities software it, and think I can get a lot out of it. At first I didn't find the focus fine tune, but it is located on the preview page away from the other settings. Once I located it, I am able to get the desired focus. In fact I don't think you can focus any tighter than you can view on the monitor. I see where the remote Cam Ranger, and the tripod rotary drive would really work well for outdoor macros, and general wildlife photography. I may be giving both of them a shot. I can see a bird landing on my camera and taking a crap.... Thanks again for all the help......

Eos Utility is quite useful, but requires you to have the laptop on hand, and it will want to store a copy of the image on the laptop; something that I've always found supremely annoying since I don't edit on my laptop. If you have an Android tablet and would rather use the tablet than the laptop, DSLRController is certainly the way to go. I use DSLRController coupled with the TPLink battery powered wireless router ($35) for wireless tethering. It's the exact same piece of hardware Camranger charges $300 for. For the $9 you pay for DSLRController, you get a host of camera control options not available via EOS Utility, like touch screen focus, focus stacking for macro subjects , and a lot more. Just one more thing to think about.
